Lengthened Strides

She has invented a new way to create work for me, by using trotting poles, 1.6m apart, to teach me to lengthen my strides.  I did get in a muddle a couple of times, but ended well.  I should like to point out that once more it was raining.

She says that the poles will make sure that any lengthening in front is matched behind, unlike these horses.

I don't think that there is any danger of my looking like these horses, but She says it is important that I am never featured in a dressage book hall of shame with red lines drawn along my forearm and hind cannon.
